KARL ROVE left his position in D.C.  That means he now works out of his home - with fewer interruptions.

INVADING IRAQ:  Okay.  We bought the Brooklyn Bridge.  But do we have to keep making monthly payments on it?

THINK AND DO.  Republicans are accused of being mindless.  Democrats are accused of being spineless.  We are all Americans and we are neither mindless nor spineless if we think and do.  If we stand up.  Speak up. Starting here. Starting now.

Please let us know what you are doing to lift a finger or idea you have that need support.

Are there any religious groups or other groups that currently provide a meeting place for veterans in and back from Iraq and their families?  This would best be a "no war zone" with no politics.  Just a safe, quiet place for Iraq veterans and their families to regroup.  Maybe several groups could share a location and work together.

Are there any groups - perhaps even school organizations or scout troops - interested in holding bake sales or other fund-raisers to supply body armor and other equipment for our Oregonians in war zones?  A trend must start here and now where we address and resolve issues of optimum safety for our soldiers.  Bake sales and other fund raisers do highlight the ludicrous distance between tough war talk and actual sensible preparedness.  But we must identify what our Oregon soldiers need and provide it until we can bring them home.

Stand up, speak up, starting here, starting now.  Yes, You.
